Artists’ Row was started in 1994 as part of Augusta’s revitalization project in the historic buildings along Broad Street.

It has become a vital part of Augusta’s thriving creative community and a favorite destination of visitors. Galleries, working Art Studios, specialty shops, restaurants and coffee houses have flourished in the beautiful historic district.

First Friday is a favorite monthly arts event that Artists’ Row initiated, held on the first Friday of every month. Artists’ Row Galleries and Shoppes have special receptions from 5 - 9pm in tandem with the free concerts that are held along Broad Street.
